Welcome to Spot Check!
This year so far we have had a workshop with Doreen Hunt in February,
(who was as fabulous as ever), and got us all thinking about portraits
and figures with mixed media and collage. In March we had Julian Bray
(an incredible artist who seems to be able to turn his hand to anything).
Again we looked at portraits but this time using Julian’s watercolour
technique which can be used also for landscapes. I will certainly use
this technique again; (wonderful colours and effects), even though I am
not particularly a watercolourist as such. It was lovely to see a member
of the NSA join us. She said she thoroughly enjoyed it! We now offer
spare spaces not taken by the SDAG at workshops to NSA Members
for £35, which helps with the costs.

Friday 15th to Sun. 17th May SDAG Spring/Summer Exhibition at
Attenborough Nature Reserve (See Details below). Perhaps invite a
friend, or an SDAG workshop for £35 (non member) as a birthday
